Location
Please note that Bicknell Street is ONE WAY and best accessed from London Road. This is a terraced street and visitors should report to the Reception Block (which is signed and located in a converted end-of-terrace house with a white UPVC front door). The adjacent school is next door to a very large mosque. Parking is usually available anywhere on the street.
Travelling north on the M6
Exit M6 at junction 29, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit, joining the M65 motorway, signposted Burnley & Blackburn.
Leave the M65 at junction 6 to roundabout and take the 1st exit (right-hand lane).
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A678.
At traffic signals turn right onto the A677.
At Copy Nook Junction, traffic signals take right lane (A6078).
At Eanam Junction roundabout take the 2nd exit (right-hand lane) remaining on A6078/Barbara Castle Way.
At 3rd set of lights turn right on to Whalley Range.
Bear left on one-way system and turn left on to Randall Street.
Follow to top of street and turn right on to Limbrick.
Take 3rd right (there is a filter) on to London Road.
Take 2nd right on to Bicknell Street (one way).
Travelling south on the M6
Leave M6 at junction 31 (A59).
After appx 6 miles, take 1st exit off roundabout (straight on).
Continue forward onto the A677/Preston New Road.
Remain on the A677 following signs for the Town Centre.
At cross roads/traffic lights, turn left on to A6078/Barbara Castle Way.
Take first left on to Limbrick.
Take 4th right (there is a filter) on to London Road.
Take 2nd right on to Bicknell Street (one way).
