University

We pride ourselves on the quality of support we give to our students as they prepare for university. University guidance is given on both a group and individual basis. This ensures that each student’s individual aspirations are catered for and that they are well prepared for their life after T6.

The majority of T6 students go on to Higher Education, including study at Russell Group Universities such as Manchester and Oxbridge. They study a range of disciplines as diverse as Medicine, Law, Accountancy, Engineering, Art or English.

Students are given 1-to-1 help with the personal statement which accompanies their university application. UCAS references are compiled in detail by experienced staff. Each reference is reviewed fully by the Head of Sixth Form before submission.

Interview preparation, including mock interviews, is given to all students as part of the Tutorial programme. Visits are organised to over a dozen universities.
